Super National Weekend number two is in the books! Joseph Banish and Joseph Lewis took big wins.
Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND was the sight of the first race of the fourth of July weekend Super Nationals. Joseph Banish took the race lead from pole setter Gavin Edinger on his way to the victory.
Banish, Edinger, and Joseph Lewis were the top three finishers. Collin Compson and Zander Compson rounded out the top five.
When the engines re-fired on July 6 at Buffalo River Race Park, Joseph Lewis was looking to better that third place finish from earlier in the week. Lewis did just that bettering Noah Lewis at the checkered flag.
It was under extreme heat that the 7th program of the season was presented at Autodrome Granby in Granby, Canada.
The Slingshots raced on Circuit Jodoin Avocat et associés with Samuel St-Hilaire in Junior Slingshots and Jérémy St-Louis in All Star Slingshots respectively won.
A large majority of racing in the Northeast was lost to rain on the holiday weekend.
Shellhammer’s Speedway survived a late shower to race the “Golden Hammer” event on Wednesday July 3. Wyatt Taschler grabbed the Junior Slingshot victory over Tucker Cole, Tyler Ulsh, Logan Bauman, and Aaron Diller.
Brett Bieber bested a field of 24 All Star Slingshots on Wednesday night. Dylan Hoch was second across the line chased by Tyler Ulsh, Dylan Swinehart, and Amanda Angstadt.
